Addressing the Crisis: Oral cancer research in Queensland
Professor Peter Thomson is on a mission to address a growing healthcare crisis. Although oral cancers can be easily identified and cured in the early stages of development, a JCU study analysing 36 years of data has revealed significant increases in both diagnoses and fatalities. Find out how raising awareness and delivering targeted, preventive strategies to high-risk populations are essential for turning the tide on oral cancers.
Pizza will be provided on the evening.
