High schools in Townsville are invited to nominate Year 10 and 11 students to attend this exclusive full-day event, offering hands-on neuroscience workshops with a real-world focus at JCU Townsville, Bebegu-Yumba campus. Students (and parents who are interested) will engage in a variety of practical STEM-based workshops exploring Neuroscience and Stress. Students will learn from JCU’s scientists with different backgrounds (e.g., anatomy, neuroimaging, medicine, engineering) and will have the opportunity to see a real brain in JCU’s world-class anatomy lab. By doing so, this event aims to build confidence in STEM and to open up the opportunity for related degrees and careers.

Limited student places are available per school – express your school’s interest below to be the first to know more information.

Attendance is FREE but limited and includes free transportation and catering.
