Floods, Cyclone and Heat - Public Health Response
Join this timely presentation of Inspiration on Tap where JCU researchers will discuss how disasters such as cyclones and flooding impact our health systems, the community and people’s health. Professor Richard Franklin and Ms Hannah Mason will talk about their research into health issues and responses to North Queensland disasters, and also hold an open discussion. This presentation will also provide interesting and valuable insights into what a career in public health could look like for you.
You’ll have the opportunity to connect with JCU academics and staff on the night and gain insights into career pathways in public health.
Refreshments will be provided on the evening.
