Develop your understanding of writing for academic purposes by learning how to organise and express your ideas. Explore a variety of assessment types to help you succeed at university and beyond. This one-hour workshop is offered to JCU students free of charge by The Learning Centre

Registration is not required, simply turn up! If you cannot attend this workshop, you may be interested in the repeat session.

Writing in the Humanities

These sessions focus on the fundamentals of writing (paragraphing, using evidence, etc.) with reference to discipline specific typical text types / genres. You will have the opportunity to discuss your specific assessment task at either session.
