Year 10 University Experience rescheduled Monday 23 - Friday 27 November 2020.
Students will experience university life for themselves, by taking part in information sessions on key study areas, meeting academic staff and current students, and learning more about university life. A residential program is available to students from regional and remote areas.
The Science and Engineering Challenge is a day-long competition designed to provide high school students with a positive experience of science and engineering.
Each school 'team' is divided into eight groups of between two to four students per group. Each group will then do either one full-day activity, or two half-day activities (i.e. one activity in the morning session, and a different one in the afternoon session).

This two-day program is a joint collaboration between James Cook University and the Mater Hospital offers high school students a unique opportunity to explore Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Careers.
Gain unique insights into careers in health care. Students go behind the scenes at the Mater Hospital, with opportunities to speak directly with health professionals and get all their questions answered. To help students with their career goals, JCU Advisors will be on hand to provide information about JCU health courses.
This program will be run in the second half of 2020
