The Awards and Ceremonies Committee is a committee of the Council. Its role is to advise Council on all ceremonial matters such as the order of proceedings for Graduation Ceremonies, academic dress, use of the University's armorial bearings, the naming of facilities to honour a person or organisation and to identify appropriate nominees for honorary awards in order to strengthen the links between the University and the community, organisations and other institutions. The Awards and Ceremonies Committee has six members.
