Biography

Lara Humadi is a second-year medical student at James Cook University. She is from Brisbane and graduated from Craigslea State High School in 2018 where she served as School Captain. In 2019 she was SANTE (JCU’s global health group) first year representative and advertised charity events as part of her role.

Currently, she is one of the Australian Medical Students Association Crossing Borders for Health Representatives which involves raising awareness about refugee issues. In her spare time, she plays the flute in the Townsville concert band, social frisbee and helps with putting together Med Revue (Medicine’s annual performing arts show). Lara is passionate about leadership, social justice issues and making a difference to the community she lives in.
