Graduate Research School The HDR Professional Development Program Marking for Sessional Staff: Efficiency, Feedback and LearnJCU Ultra

Marking for Sessional Staff: Efficiency, Feedback and LearnJCU Ultra

Marking can be stressful, time consuming and sometimes just grim.  Making marking as positive and efficient as possible will be a better experience for you, and you will give better feedback to your students.

The workshop will introduce marking within LearnJCU Ultra, ways to be efficient, and ideas about types of feedback.  It will include good practice from literature and from JCU academics.

This workshop is presented by Jennifer Francis, a Humanities Sessional Staffer and an Educational Designer in the LearnJCU Ultra team, so the session aims to be a collaboration of peers, as well as presenting new practice.

Bring your device/s and beverage.

Note: suitable for current and potential JCU sessional staff.
