Summary of Project

The value of social work practice to health and well-being is widely recognised. Social workers are well-established in hospitals, and other health facilities. However, in Australia there are only few social workers working in GP practices, generally as mental health practitioners. Dr Ines Zuchowski is completing research in this area, looking at the experiences of students in GP practices. She is interested in further exploring social workers; experiences and contributions to primary health care.
