Summary of Project

This program builds on the findings of a 4 year NHMRC grant which explored injuries and alcohol management plans in three Cape York communities. There is the opportunity to build on data collected and explore in depth the findings regarding violence against women working with the community to implement strategies to reduce interpersonal violence for rural, remote and Indigenous women. We offer a strong emphasis on practice-led research methods and we especially welcome candidates with an interest in Indigenous health, women’s violence and remote health care.
