Summary of Project

This project is aimed at increasing physical activity in the Townsville community. Opportunities exist to work with local stakeholders to promote active transport and increase active behaviours in the general community and in primary school settings. The project will consider the internet of things while incorporating human factors in order to potentiate the implementation of behaviour change programs. Prominent psychological health theories will provide the theoretical basis for designing the project.
