Fieldwork in Complex and Hostile Places
Fieldwork in Complex and Hostile Places Course
United Nations accredited fieldwork training comes to JCU!
JCU is working with GCORE to introduce state of the art fieldwork training for JCU HDR Candidates and Staff. GCORE is a Singapore-based organisation run by a former Australian academic, Scott Flower. Scott helps people and organisations be more efficient, effective and safe when working in field settings. This course will prepare individuals to deal with situations of risk so they can focus on their missions. He and his team also help organisations manage their duty of care to personnel in an increasingly hazardous world through technology, advice and training.
The Graduate Research School has set aside 22 places for HDR Candidates. Candidates must have their advisory team's approval to participate.
A co-payment of $800 will apply.
