NVivo Essentials

1 day course with Associate Professor Linda Sweet

NVivo is a computer software package produced by QSR International that supports qualitative and mixed methods research. It has been designed for researchers working with very rich text-based and/or multimedia information, (including interviews, open-ended survey responses, articles, social media and web content), where deep levels of analysis on small or large volumes of data are required.

This one-day workshop is aimed to provide the novice with essential skills in using NVivo software for research purposes. The focus is on developing NVivo skills through hands-on experience.

This hands-on training will be conducted using a Windows platform. The course assumes no prior skills with NVivo.

You will be required to bring your own laptop with NVivo installed. For information see the NVivo Software webpage.

Please choose either the Wednesday or Thursday session - they are both the same and you should not come to both.
