Graduate Research School Workshops & Training Professional Development Program RD7003 Professional Development Workshops OneDrive, CareerHub and LearnJCU
OneDrive, CareerHub and LearnJCU
OneDrive, CareerHub and LearnJCU
HDR candidates must attend this session at least once during the first 12 months of candidature (full-time equivalent).
OneDrive is a cloud-based storage system that is supported by JCU IT and provides a flexible method for storing HDR-related materials. OneDrive training is provided by JCU IT experts who can show you how it operates and answer your questions.
The GRS also requires HDR candidates to use the CareerHub system for booking workshop attendance and for retaining documents relating to professional development. During this session, participants will be shown how to access their official attendance files on CareerHub, and how to upload material relevant to their professional development and future careers.
LearnJCU is where you can undertake any GRS online learning modules, including the modules that are compulsory for your candidature. You will be shown how to access modules and how to find the records of your completion of online activities. The information sessions will be based in Townsville and video-linked to Cairns.
Please note that you will need to bring your own laptop to this session.
