The following software products are made available to JCU staff because JCU has purchased software licenses for the Software through the Microsoft Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) Licensing Agreement.
JCU is extending to you, the right to use the Software for work related purposes at home. You are not licensed to use the Software at home for personal purposes. You do not own the license, the Software or the Software content. You will be required to remove the Software from your home computer at the time of EES Agreement expiration (28/02/2015) or earlier if you cease to be a JCU staff member, unless otherwise advised by the University.
Work at Home Rights have been granted to JCU for the following products (referred to collectively herein as the “Software”):
Microsoft Office for Mac Standard 2011
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (upgrade only ie you must have a Windows Operating System on your home computer that can be upgraded to Windows 7)- 32bit
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (upgrade only ie you must have a Windows Operating System on your home computer that can be upgraded to Windows 7)- 64bit
NB If you are installing Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 into a virtual environment on a Mac a valid license for the Mac Operating System on that Mac home computer is deemed to be a valid license for the installation of this Software.
The following conditions apply when if you purchase the Software:
You will agree to abide by the license agreement associated with the Software.
You understand that no technical support is provided by JCU in association with your work-at-home use.
You understand that the minimum specifications to run the Software as listed at http://www.microsoft.com/products.
You understand that you must remove the Software from your home computer at the time the EES Agreement expires (28/02/2015) or earlier if you cease to be a JCU staff member, unless otherwise advised by the University.
You understand that you are not licensed to use the Software for personal purposes.
How do you access the Software?
As part of the Universities Microsoft EES Agreement you are able to electronically order the software and license and download the purchased application(s) for Work-related purposes at home.
Insight have provided the University with a personalised Web Site on the Kivuto Web Store where eligible University Staff and Postgraduate students can electronically order and download the software applications available under the Microsoft Work at Home service. To register with the Kivuto Web Store you must use your University email credentials ie firstname.lastname@example.org .
To order software and the associated license electronically you must first complete the Registration process to access the Kivuto Web Store
Go to the University's personalised Web page
Click the Sign In Link located on the top right-hand side of the page
If you have not Registered on the Kivuto Web Store site you will need to complete the Registration process now by selecting the Register option on this page.
Select the “ I have an organisation issued email option ”.
Follow the prompts through that Registration process. Please ensure that you register the correct email address ie your University email address.
A Registration email is sent to the organisation issued email address. Ensure that you are able to access your email account when registering as you will need to click on an embedded link in the email to validate and finalise your Registration.
To sign in to your Account once you have completed registration:
Go to the University's personalised Web page
Click the Sign-In option available in the top right-hand corner of the web page
Enter your Username and Password (information sent to you at the completion of Registration
Click the Sign In button
Select the Faculty/Staff Tab
Select the software you wish to purchase

Office for Mobile Devices
Microsoft Office is also available on Mobile Devices as part of our Microsoft Agreement.
