MFA will be mandatory for all from the 1st of September 2022
There are three methods of MFA at JCU:
- ForgeRock Authenticator - push notification on a mobile device
- Generic Authenticator (e.g., Google authenticator) - one-time-passwords generated on your app
- YubiKey (Security hardware device) - suitable if you don't have a phone
You are prompted to register your device for MFA as part of the login process, which will become mandatory for all students commencing 1st August 2022.
