International Students Coming to Australia Life in Australia Your first 48 hours Attending an International Student Orientation
Attending an International Student Orientation
The International Student Orientation session is held prior to Orientation Week each semester. Attendance at the information session is compulsory. During the session you will register your arrival at JCU, meet other international students and receive a welcome pack containing information about JCU and North Queensland. Other topics covered in the session include:
Orientation week
Overseas Student Health Cover
Student visa requirements and compliance
Enrolment information
Support services provided JCU and available in the community
Student clubs and social activities, safety information and more.
