Continuing applicants

Initial applications for US Federal Aid at JCU will usually last up to 12 months. To apply for further Federal Aid, you will have to re-apply. The loan application process is the same as for new applicants:

  • Complete a FAFSA for the relevant loan period

  • Await your Award letter*

    *Please note that deadlines do apply and if you are submitting your FAFSA close to, or after, commencement of the study period you will need to contact financialaid@jcu.edu.au as an Award Letter may not be issued after the deadline.

To complete your application, follow the steps provided in the Award letter by the relevant deadline.
