LearnJCU has transformed
JCU’s Learning Management System (LMS) 'LearnJCU', the system which has been delivering subject content to students since 2001, has undergone a major upgrade. It has now migrated to a cloud based delivery model known as Software as a Service (Saas).
What does this change mean for you?
Technical information on what the change to SaaS means for the LMS is available in the ‘What is SaaS?’ article, but for most users it is the interface and small workflow changes which will have the biggest impact.
Enhancements to the design
The LearnJCU interface has been refreshed in look and is now fully responsive, which means, the design will suit whichever device it is being viewed on, whether it be desktop, tablet or mobile.
New LearnJCU gateway
The LearnJCU gateway has been redesigned to allow easier access to all things related to the online learning environments:
- Login to LearnJCU via single sign-on
- Alerts and outage notification
- News updates
- Help guides and support.
