Upload files to Pebble+

In addition to creating assets from preset templates (e.g. reflective journal entries) you can also upload or link to files you created outside PebblePad (e.g. Word docs, photos, diagrams, mp3 audio)

To upload a file to Pebble+:

  1. From the Add New menu choose Upload File

  2. In the Upload File popup, click the Title field and type in a title for your asset and in the Description field add a brief description of your asset

Upload file

  1. Click the Browse button, locate your file, then click Open

  2. Click the checkbox acknowledging you are entitled to upload the file (Note: If you are not the owner, you should link to the file in it’s original web location instead of uploading it)

  3. Click the Save and Upload button

PebblePad may take a couple of minutes to process your file. After processing you may want to tag your asset with some appropriate keywords or view it in your asset store (View > Assets > By Me)

A note about videos

Video files are often too large to be easily uploaded and viewed in PebblePed. An easy solution is to first upload your video to a service like YouTube or Vimeo then link to the video in PebblePad using a Post asset.

To link to a YouTube video in Pebble+:

  1. Locate your video on YouTube, click the Share this video link, and copy the displayed URL
    YouTube

  2. In Pebble+ choose Add New > Post

  3. In the Post popup, click the Title field and type in a title for your video and in the Content field type some text that can be used as a hyperlink (e.g. You can just use the title text again)

  4. Select the text in the Content field and from the formatting toolbar click the Web link icon
    Post a web link

  5. Paste your URL into the web link field then click the blue tick to create the link

  6. Click the Save icon on the title bar of the Post popup window.

After saving your asset you may want to tag your asset with some appropriate keywords or view it in your asset store (View > Assets > By Me).
