Teaching at JCU

LTSE Teaching at JCU

JCU staff are supported to develop a repertoire of inclusive teaching strategies. In addition, staff are increasingly expected to develop technology-enhanced teaching strategies. In response to this, the Directorate of Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement provides a range of professional learning opportunities.

JCU encourages collaboration and partnerships between academic and professional staff by offering a dynamic program of workshops and events. The Directorate also offers the Graduate Certificate of Education (Academic Practice) and has a dedicated academic developer team. In addition, the Directorate manages JCU’s teaching evaluation processes.
