Sessional Staff Induction

James Cook University sessional staff who are new to teaching, or who have not completed the induction within the last three years, are required to attend induction as part of their ongoing appointment. The program is presented as a 4-hour workshop.

Sessions are offered in teaching periods (TP) 1 and 2 each year, generally during O Week. Sessions are presented in person at the Cairns and Townsville campuses, and at other locations via Zoom.
