check mark Review students’ accessing your LearnJCU subject materials using the Early Warning System. Follow up students identified by the Early Warning System and/or refer to the school’s On Track Coordinator. Contact Equity and Student Engagement for details.
check mark Make sure students are following the checkpoints. They should now be using the first month checkpoint.
check mark Introduce students to their library liaison and demonstrate how to develop their research skills using JCU's Library services and LibGuides. Ensure students know about the Reserve Online resource.
check mark Promote relevant workshops to support students to develop key learning and writing skills and promote the roles of Learning Advisers and the weekly writing and learning skills sessions.
check markFor students uncertain of their career refer the direction to careers and employment website and make sure they know about JCU’s free support services and that new students are linked with a mentor.
check mark Ensure students wishing to withdraw subjects prior to the census date are aware of the correct withdrawal process to avoid financial penalty. Direct students to the enrolment website to find out more. This website also helps if students are asking about gaining credit for previous study.
