Hi, my name is Nathan Miller. I am from the Bidjara and Kooma nations in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales on my father’s side. On my mother’s side I am of Australian Scottish and English background. I grew up and have lived mainly in southern Queensland.
I have worked in the health sector and legal sector as an Aboriginal Heath Worker and Indigenous Field Officer. I graduated with a B.A. Humanities from Queensland University of Technology where I majored in Australian studies with an emphasis on contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies.
I’m here to help you get the most out of the library and our resources. Please come and see me on the ground floor of the Mabo library, send me an email or give me a call. I look forward to helping with all your information and resource needs.
