The Helen Mays Reading Room is located on Level 1 of the Eddie Koiki Mabo Library in Townsville (Building 18 Room 106). Please see our maps and floor plans for directions.
Members of the community are welcome.
To make a booking:
- Click Go to Date under the photograph to select the date you want to visit.
- Choose a table and select your arrival time by clicking the time slot.
- Select your departure time from the drop down menu below the timetable.
- If you want to book for more than one day, choose the next day you want to book for as well.
- Click Continue to enter your booking details.
- You will immediately receive an email notification that your booking has been submitted,
you will need to wait for a second email to have confirmation that your selected timeslot is available.
The Reading Room is closed on Mondays and weekends. Please contact us for other options.
