One of the priorities for the Division of Services and Resources (DSR) in 2019, is to enhance the way they deliver their services.
A Service Improvement initiative, using a team comprising members from each of the DSR Directorates, has commenced work utilising an agile methodology and collaborating with clients from across the University to prioritise improvements to services that have the widest reach and the greatest impact.
The Service Improvement team intends to deliver a steady flow of improvements during the second half of 2019, which they hope will have a positive impact on how you engage with their services.
To kick-off the project, the Service Improvement team has committed to re-designing Service Now. The naming conventions have been reviewed and revised to make the overall Service Now experience more user-friendly. Service Now should be your first point of call for accessing and requesting services for: TSD; HR; FaBS; and Estate.
Future improvements:
The Service Improvement team is committed to updating you as improvements are rolled out. They have previously gathered your feedback about service improvements and will be working through this as part of this initiative. However, they are also keen to provide you with an opportunity to give your feedback directly to their service teams.
Keep a look out for surveys in Service Now. You can also give specific improvement ideas via this survey.
