Australia Day Honours for JCU staff, students and alumni

We extend our congratulations to the James Cook University staff, students and alumni who have been recognised in the 2018 Australia Day Honours lists. These include:

Associate Professor Henrietta Marrie AM, Adjunct Professor, Cairns Institute, since 2010.

Dr Philip Ladds AM, Associate Professor and Founding Head, Pathology Department, Post Graduate School of Tropical Veterinary Science, 1993-1998. Senior Lecturer, 1971-1983.

Colin Creighton AM, Adjunct Principal Research Scientist, Centre for Tropical Water and Aquatic Research (TropWATER) since 2015.

Anthony Wood AM, Advisory Board Member, Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM) since 2016.

Dr Jack Maguire, senior lecturer and GMT senior fellow, Townsville Citizen of the Year.

Clare Pullen, commencing student, Mackay Young Citizen of the Year.

Emma Nolan, commencing student, Townsville Young Citizen of the Year.
