To develop, coordinate, deliver and supervise adult and pediatric Speech Pathology clinical placements based in Mount Isa with up to four (4) adult and pediatric placements per year for a duration of 6 - 8 weeks each.
To continue to develop the Service Learning model of teaching and service delivery which aligns with the overarching objective of the CRRH in Mount Isa to build a rural and remote allied health workforce by producing workforce ready clinicians.
Speech Pathology clinical experience in the field of adult community rehabilitation, aged care, adult and pediatric acquired disability, and early intervention for children with autism.
Teaching experience with James Cook University into the undergraduate programs of Dentistry, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology for HS2401: Rural and Remote Primary and Public Health Care. Clinical Educator for the Bachelor of Speech Pathology program at James Cook University.
