Role at MICRRH
Sarah has been the librarian at the Yacca Library since mid-2015, and is employed by Queensland Health. Her role includes the day-to-day running of the library and supporting MICRRH staff, North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) staff, and university students with research and assessment. She is also the Research Governance Officer for NWHHS and is coordinating a Journal Club for local health professionals and research staff.
Sarah has been living in Mount Isa since early 2014. She has previously worked at the State Library of Queensland, public libraries and at a secondary school library in Mount Isa.
Sarah is a qualified senior school teacher, and is able to help students, both local and visiting with assignments, proof-reading and referencing.
