Role at MICRRH

Tanya commenced as a Senior Lecturer and Site Coordinator for Nursing, Midwifery and Nutrition at MICRRH in March 2016. She is also currently thee third year level coordinator for the BNSc program.

Background

Tanya is a registered nurse with a background of working in neurosciences and critical care environtments in Queensland and Victoria. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing Science (JCU), a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical (Neurosciences) (UniMelb), a Post Graduate Certificate of Nursing Science (Intensive Care) (JCU) and a Masters of Nursing Studies (JCU).

Tanya commenced teaching laboratory and tutorial sessions on a sessional basis for the BNSc program in 2005. Since then she has held various positions within the discipline of Nursing, Midwifery and Nutrition.
