The Centre for Rural and Remote Health in Mount Isa is hosting a 2 hour event showcasing health degrees at James Cook University for students, job seekers and career changers of all ages interested in a health career.
The 2018 Health Careers Expo will be held at Tjirtamai Hall on Tuesday the 11th of September between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

If you're up for a challenge Mount Isa's iconic 'Outback to the Stack Running Festival' will be held on Sunday, 22 July 2018! The weekend before our 9th Biennial 'Are You Remotely Interested' Conference 2018 from 24 - 27 July.
The annual 'Outback to Stack Running Festival' offers something for every running and walking ability with individual distances ranging from 5km, 10km and 21km runs.
The event starts from Lake Moondarra and finishes at Tony White Oval in Mount Isa with views of the Mount Isa Mines stack while you run, hence the name!

Quamby, located 50km from the town of Clonucurry comes alive in July each year with all the thrills and spills of the Queensland Rodeo Circuit.
