Jasleen Chhabra

Jasleen is a Lecturer in Psychology at Federation University, and holds a postdoctoral fellow position at the Manna Institute. She received her PhD from James Cook University, where she undertook research in the area of paternal perinatal mental health (an area in which she continues to focus). Jasleen is perhaps best known for her systematic review and meta-analysis on the risk factors for depression and anxiety in fathers in the perinatal period. Additional areas of interest for Jasleen include masculinity; psychological disorders; the identity of young men; adolescent and childhood psychology; maternal perinatal mental health; and gender and intercultural psychology.
