FMPM 232 Authorised Limits - Petty Cash

The determination by the Chief Financial Officer, in accordance with FMPM 230: Policy – Petty Cash sets the limit of a petty cash float to any one Custodian or for any one purpose up to $2,000.

The determination by the Chief Financial Officer, in accordance with FMPM 230: Policy – Petty Cash sets the upper limit on the value of individual transactions funded from a petty cash float at $50.

The determination by the Chief Financial Officer, in accordance with FMPM 230: Policy – Petty Cash sets the threshold that applies to the collection of monies directly from the On-Campus Credit Union (Townsville) or Cashier (Cairns) by Petty Cash Custodians as up to and including $250. For reimbursements in excess of $250, Petty Cash Custodians must engage the services of the nominated security firm.
