The Division of Tropical Health and Medicine (DTHM) Battle of the Colleges Three Minute Thesis competition (3MT) is a fantastic research event held each year with Higher Degree Researchers, Early Career Researchers and Established Researchers from each College competing to showcase their research in three minutes and was held on Friday 14th August 2015.
The winner under the Higher Degree Research student category was Mal Fernando who presented "The link between walking and diabetic foot ulcers". This has progressed Mal to the next round of talks at University level which will be held in September. The winner of this round will then represent the University in the Trans-Tasman event at the University of Western Australia in October 2015.
Joe Moxon also took part in the three minute thesis (3MT) competition under the Established Researchers category and presented "Cholesterol composition counts".
