The 2016 conference will be held on September 7-9, 2016
A multidisciplinary conference focusing on the science of sport, exercise and physical activity in tropical environments and locations will be hosted within the beautiful North Queensland city of Townsville.
The conference is aimed at both academic and practitioner audiences who will address the mechanisms, interventions and responses to sport, exercise and physical activities performed in tropical environments and locations. This event will bring together prominent speakers from Australia and around the world to consider this topic – from community participation in exercise and sport, physical activity to elite performance and their impacts on individuals and public health.
The conference will provide the opportunity to hear the latest scientific developments through keynote and invited presentations, free papers, posters and discussion forums. Individuals are invited to submit abstracts of original work for presentation. The conference will offer delegates a great opportunity to share scientific evidence with key stakeholders, researchers and practitioners interested in, or working in areas akin to tropical environments and locations.
The event will also provide extensive networking opportunities to discuss pertinent issues with researchers and practitioners in a relaxed and informal environment, and the chance for unforgettable experiences.
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance and will be eligible to gain up to 15 ESSA CPD points.
We look forward to welcoming you to Townsville, Australia for a tropical experience!!
