JCU Ally Network

The JCU Ally Network is a visible group of students and staff who support sexual and gender diverse students.

They are not experts, and may or may not be from the LGBTIQ+ community.

What do Allies do?

An Ally offers a friendly face and provides a safe place where you:

  • Are able to talk confidentially
  • Are listened to objectively
  • Can be provided with existing support and referral options

Contact an Ally

Allies are available in Townsville and Cairns and can be contacted any time by staff and students, on or off campus.
