Client Service (including the Student Enquiry Centres)

The major responsibilities of this area include:

  • A high quality consistent enquiry response service – email, phone and face to face for prospective and current domestic students

  • Academic Records for students

  • Facility for student payments

  • Student and staff ID and placement cards

  • Enrolment Help

  • Management of Student Personal Files

  • Orientation Week coordination


Client Services staff in Townsville are also responsible for:

  • Production of print and web information resources that communicate admission, enrolment and other general information to students

  • Manage all student bulletins and official JCU emails sent from University staff

  • Management of current student web pages

  • Outbound contact of QTAC applicants to maximize conversion from offer to enrolled


Client Service staff in Cairns are also responsible for:

  • First point of contact for student enquiries

  • Redirect enquiries to specialist staff as required. This includes SAAS specialist areas as well as other University services. Student loan application and assessment

  • Co-ordination of examinations
