Defence force reservists

JCU supports its students who are volunteer members of the Australian Defence Force Reserve and ensures they will not be disadvantaged academically if they have compulsory training or service requirements. Elite athletes

JCU is a member of the Elite Athlete University Network. There are nominated JCU staff members to liaise and support recognised elite athletes or coaches enrolled as students at JCU, who assist students to successfully integrate their academic and sporting aspirations. If you are recognised elite athlete and need to arrange an external exam venue or have other special consideration issues, find out more about at JCU’s Elite Athletes site.
