This form is to appeal final subject results for all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students - subsequent to a review of final subject result.

If you have not yet undertaken a Review of Final Subject Result do not complete this form. Please refer to the Review of Final Subject Result Procedure instead.

Please read the Student Appeals Policy, Appeal of Final Subject Result Procedure, JCU's Information Collection Notice and check you have everything you need to complete this form before you commence. Complete as much information as possible and attach the written outcome of the Review of Final Subject Result and any other additional supporting documentation in order to ensure a smooth assessment of your appeal.

Are you submitting this appeal within 20 University working days of that decision? * University working days exclude Saturday, Sunday, public holidays or any official University closures.

What legitimate ground/s for appeal are you basing your appeal on? * Refer to Appeal of Final Subject Result Procedure. Applications which fail to demonstrate legitimate grounds for appeal will be dismissed. Dismissal is a final decision with no further internal options for appeal.

Provide a statement below briefly and concisely explaining why the ground applies in this case - why the process was procedurally unfair and/or why the new evidence was not available at the time of the original review of final subject result and attach evidence to support your claim. Point to relevant information by providing the document title, page number, paragraph, etc. Emails should be kept in original format and referred as separate attachments.

Please seek advice from your Student Advocate if you are unsure about the evidence you should provide. Do not include material that is irrelevant to the decision/s you are appealing. Evidence from social media sites may not be sufficient to prove some claims.
