In addition, students will be informed when other representation opportunities arise with schools, faculties or university units.

Accordingly, JCU Council includes three student members (one undergraduate, one postgraduate and a third either undergraduate or postgraduate student), elected every two years. These student members may also serve on selected Council committees including Academic Board, where one undergraduate and one postgraduate student are elected onto the Board.
