VC Control

Usually in JCU videoconference enabled rooms, the touch panel is partitioned into  Local Presentation and Videoconference modes. This system has done away with those options and goes straight into the Videoconference (VC) Control tab. Videoconference calls are usually scheduled and connected by VAVS but this screen is optionally used for connecting calls manually.

Local Presentation

To show a presentation, touch the VC Presentation tab and a media button (PC or Wireless Collaborator) to show the content on the three ceiling mounted flat panel displays. To show a laptop presentation, touch the Wireless Collaborator button and follow the instructions shown on the flat panel displays. The laptop must be WiFi capable and have access to Eduroam.

VC Presentation

Once a videoconference call has been connected, the far end will appear on the flat panel in the center. To show a presentation, touch the VC Presentation tab and a media button (PC or Wireless Collaborator); the presentation will be shown on the left and right flat panels. To show a laptop presentation, touch the Wireless Collaborator button and follow the instructions shown on the flat panel displays. The laptop must be WiFi capable and have access to Eduroam.

Audio

The videoconference volume and the audio component of a presentation is adjusted by touching the Audio button and touching and sliding the control.

Far End Camera Control

When supported, touch the Far End Camera Control tab and make the necessary adjustments using the on screen controls.
