Videoconference mode
Show laptop presentation

In a videoconference, a camera view and presentation are sent concurrently to the far end room(s). The VC Main Image is usually used for a view of the presenter (presenter camera) and the VC Presentation is used to select the presentation source to be shown.

Connect the laptop to the audio visual system using the 15-pin VGA cable and the 3.5mm audio cable or the HDMI cable or the Apple MiniDisplay port cable\ and set the laptop to duplicate its display.

The presentation can only be added after the videoconference call has been established. This applies for theatre to content server recordings as well. The indicator that a call has been established, is the appearance of the Far End room(s) on the projector screen to the right behind you or the screen displaying the word ‘Recording’.

To show a laptop presentation to the far end room(s), touch the VC Presentation tab and the Laptop1 button. Ensure the laptop audio is turned up and not muted if there is an audio component of the presentation.

Touch the Audio tab for information about the volume/audio control.
