There are many external scholarships made available by government departments, business and industry groups that you may be eligible to apply for.

The Pinnacle Foundation Scholarships for LGBTIQ+ students
The Pinnacle Foundation provides Scholarships for students between the ages of 17-26, who are planning to study full-time education at a public or private secondary school (final year) or public institution of higher education in Australia, for the purpose of gaining an educational or vocational qualification in any profession, trade or the arts.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that because of their gender identity, sexual orientation or sexual characteristics they have been prevented or hindered from achieving their academic aspirations
Value: $5,000 to $7,000

Open to: Australian students studying full time in Business, Finance, Medicine, Healthcare or Specialist Healthcare.

Rural Pharmacy Scholarship Scheme
Open to: Australian students enrolled, or about to be enrolled, as a full-time student in pharmacy undergraduate or graduate degree at an Australian university that leads to a registrable qualification as a pharmacist. Must be able to show they have lived in a defined rural area for a minimum of five consecutive years, or eight cumulative years from the age of five.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pharmacy Scholarship Scheme
Open to: Australian citizens of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who are enrolled, or about to be enrolled, as a full-time student in a pharmacy undergraduate or graduate degree at an Australian university that leads to a registrable qualification as a pharmacist. Preferably from a rural or remote location.
Value: $15,000 per year up to 4 years
