There are many external scholarships made available by government departments, business and industry groups that you may be eligible to apply for.

RSL Queensland Scholarships
Open to: Ex-Defence members, partners of current-serving or ex-Defence members and veteran dependants (children). Visit the website for full scholarship eligibility details, application processes and scholarship terms and conditions.

Capstone Editing Grants and Scholarships
Open to: Various students and academics.

Webjet Australia Student Grant
Open to: Australian students over 18 years of age enrolled full-time in an accredited Australian Tertiary Education Institution in the penultimate or final year of study and be studying for an undergraduate certificate, diploma or degree in any of the following areas: Business - including any business related courses from any Australian institution, IT - including any IT related courses such as Design & Animation, Computing Science and Games Development.

Real Futures Grant
Open to: Australian residents  enrolled full-time in an accredited Australian Tertiary Education Institution and be studying for a certificate, diploma, degree or traineeship in any of the following areas: Business – including any business-related courses from any institution, Finance - including actuarial, statistics, accounting and general finance courses, Medicine -  including medical and health sciences, surgery and medical research, Healthcare -  including health and fitness-related specialties, sport sciences, health services assistance and international health,  Specialist healthcare -  including nursing, optometry, dentistry and pharmacy.

Open to: Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents 18 years or older enrolled in a medical/dental degree and have commenced study at any Australian University. And are in demonstrated financial need.

Choosi Futures Grant
Open to: Australian residents enrolled full-time in an accredited Australian Education Institution and be studying for a certificate, diploma , degree, or traineeship in any of the following areas: Medical & Health Sciences, Medical Science, Medicine/Surgery,  Medical Studies, Medical Research,  Health Sciences (any specialty),  Applied Science (health & fitness-related specialties),  Health & Sport Sciences,  Nursing,  Optometry & Vision Science,  Dentistry,  Dental Surgery,  Dental Science, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy.

AMA Queensland Foundation Medical Scholarships
Open to: Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent visa holders who have commenced the MBBS program at a Queensland university, can demonstrate financial disadvantage and have a GPA of 4.0 or above.

The Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Rural and Regional Scholarship Program
Open to: Australian citizens or permanent residents living in rural and regional Australia. Must be first year university students wishing to study full-time in 2022.

Bendigo Bank Indigenous Scholarship Program
Open to: Students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders. Must be first year students studying full-time in 2022.

Rural Bank Agribusiness Scholarship Program
Open to: Australian citizens or permanent residents studying agribusiness or agriculture. Must be first year students wishing to study full-time in 2022.

Community Bank Scholarships
Open to: Full-time students studying on campus, who are aged 25 years or younger as at 29 January 2022.

JADE Finance Tertiary Studies Scholarship 2021-2022
Open to: University students who are currently enrolled in and completed 1 year of study in a commerce, financial studies or business studies course at an accredited university.
