The JCU Accommodation Office is a resource available to all JCU students looking for on or off-campus housing. The Accommodation Office assists students with the application process for living on-campus in Townsville and provides information to students wishing to live off campus.  James Cook University facilitate this website which is a database of privately owned and managed housing options in both Townsville and Cairns.

Short term accommodation is available for all students visitors and staff.

Applications for on campus opens 1 August each year, for the following year.

Applications for second semester opens 1 April.

Guidance and advice is available through the Accommodation Office, however, students are expected to seek appropriate housing independently.
