“My experience at JCU Brisbane has been fantastic. Moving away from home to a completely new country is quite a culture shock, but the Student Council at JCU Brisbane made me feel very welcome. They even set me up into student accommodation through an agency, which was very helpful. Furthermore, when I was looking for part-time work the lovely staff from Joblinx got me some casual work with the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Overall, JCU Brisbane is a great experience for international students; they're interested in learning about their students to help them adapt to the culture more easily. JCU Brisbane exposed me to real-world experiences, helped me to prepare for my career, and gave me a great deal of confidence on how to handle real-life situations. From group presentations in the classroom to creating a business plan, the university professors really teach you a lot."
