Accreditation requirements

Graduates of this course who wish to become fully registered as psychologists, must complete two years of supervised practice in the field or an accredited masters degree.

To be eligible for accreditation with Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA Australia) and/or the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) students must complete the Accounting major as well as 18 credit points consisting of the following subjects:

Advanced Standing

Eligibility

Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures.

Currency

Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course.

Expiry

Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 10 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed the course of study prescribed for the degree.

Psychology Honours

Candidates must have a minimum of a Distinction average (GPA 6) across 15 credit points of level 3 PY subjects.

Business Honours

Normally a minimum average grade of Credit is required in the pass degree subjects relevant to the field in which Honours is to be taken.
