College of Arts, Society and Education


The College of Arts, Society and Education is a part of the Division of Tropical Environments and Societies. The College builds capacity in the tropics by providing coursework that can develop knowledge and skills in Humanities and Creative Media, Social Sciences, Social Work and Education. Expanding knowledge of people and societies in the Tropics through research at Masters and PhD levels.

My Pathway and James Cook University (JCU) have partnered to present a NAIDOC Week 2017 event that celebrates the importance of traditional language. A presentation by the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) will explore options to provide language resources that are made by the community, with the community and for the community.
