The Advanced Diploma of Arts may be awarded to students exiting a bachelor degree prior to completing the requirements of that course, provided they meet the award requirements outlined below.
Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Guidelines for Diplomas.

Additional course rules
A maximum of 30 credit points must be completed at level 1
A minimum of 18 credit points must be completed at level 2 or 3
A maximum of 30 credit points may be taken from a single discipline

Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures.

Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course.
Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 16 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed this course.
