Course pre-requisites

Entry to the Arts Honours program is restricted to candidates admitted to the joint pass degree who have met the school requirements relating to the standard of academic achievement necessary to proceed to an honours degree.

Entry to the Law Honours program is restricted to candidates admitted to the joint pass degree with an overall GPA of 5 and above.

Entry requirements for this course are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Guidelines for Bachelor degrees.

Eligibility

Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures.

Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course.

Expiry

Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 20 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed this course.
