Award Requirements

Course Pre-requisites	Completion of a three-year Diploma of Teaching that includes a Pass in professional experience from this university; or Completion of a Diploma of Teaching or Bachelor of Teaching or an equivalent qualification from another approved institution of higher education; or Other qualifications recognised by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences as equivalent to the above. Examples of an equivalent qualification would be: a two-year teaching certificate plus an approved graduate diploma; a two-year teaching certificate plus a minimum of four university units including two full years of study in Education and two full years in a non-Education subject; a one-year teaching qualification plus a minimum of seven university units including two full years of study in Education and two full years of study in a non-Education subject.
